I get quite a few hits on this blog from people
searching for Bret Falk. Bret passed away in 2006, but if you have a yen to revisit his artwork, his brother, Steve, put together a book
Bob Hope Is Dead: The Collected Works of Bret Falk. Check it out, yo.

What's the connection between you and the late Mr. Falk that draws people to your blog?
Bret Falk was a friend of my brothers and we were all in an online discussion group for a couple of years. I blogged about Bret when he died and since Bret's web site is now defunct, I think my post is one of the few active links that come up if you Google him. Sadly Bret died young of the drink and some people have found out about his death through my blog.
Bret was my cousin, an amazing talent. He died the day before my son was born and I continuously miss him. Feel free to contact me if you want more information about him.
I too learned the new of Bret's death here - I knew Bret in college and was searching for him to see what he was up to these days and say hello. An amazing talent was lost - what happened?
Great loss. I met him in "rehab" and we instantly clicked. I loved his wit, humor, intelligence,style...
I was greatly impressed with his website and I am wondering if anyone has his yearly book list he had on his site. I have his book. Just amazing.

Was Bret graduate of Lakewood High School, then UCB?
Bret Falk went to UCB, but I never knew where he went to high school.
